Job Descriptions Reporting to the VP of Sales for one of the world's leading asset and non- asset based providers of logistics services offerings including freight forwarding, customs brokerage, logistics, ground transportation, value added warehousing and distribution. Transportation Broker is responsible for the solicitation, brokering and management of all freight for customers. Will maintain the proper documentation pertaining to all loads moved, and negotiate customer and carrier freight rates. Will resolve any operational issues. Will call and work with existing customers to obtain loads and or carriers for truck capacity. Will work generate new customer leads, follow up with both carriers and customers on assigned loads, maintaining productive working relationships with customer and carrier representatives. Challenge is to increase revenues and maximize profitability.
