Executive: Clinical Procurement Manager - CRO/ HEOR/ Outsourcing - Elizabeth, New Jersey

Duties: Lead the Strategic Sourcing process including defining scope of work, execution of RFIs and RFPs and creation of Task Orders. Extensive experience with vendor negotiations for cost and service levels. Perform due diligence evaluations of External Service Providers (ESP) in accordance with Company guidelines including but not limited to financial due diligence, quality and capabilities assessment and risk assessment. Support the development of outsourcing requirements for medical and clinical trials as well as HE&OR and suppliers providing innovative technical/IT solutions to the clinical trial space. Utilize superior analytical skills to develop cost baselines. Report savings and productivity through establishment of baselines and processes to measure and track results. Ensure engagement of clinical teams and other internal groups to facilitate supplier evaluations. Experience in developing third party supplier metrics and performance measurements. Support the development of processes to manage relationships with external service providers including governance, risk management, performance metrics, and alignment with objectives. Promote and maintain continuous improvement of processes within Company and in interaction with suppliers Skills: To perform this job successfully, the individual must perform the essential duties and responsibilities in a highly effective manner. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required: Previous professional experience in pharmaceutical Sourcing required. Procurement experience with Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) and HEOR suppliers required. Experience with suppliers providing innovative emerging IT technologies to clinical services preferred. Supplier cost negotiation experience required. Strong analytical capabilities required with an understanding of medical/clinical pharmaceutical development preferred. Must have strong Excel proficiency and excellent analytical skills. Education: Bachelor's degree required Minimum 5 years of experience or related training in Procurement and/or Outsourcing preferred required. ()
