Job DescriptionRLD Associates, Inc. has an opening for a part-time home-based position as a field auditor. The territory includes areas within a 20 mile radius of Elizabeth. This would include Plainfield, Hillside, and Woodbridge. Travel should be anticipated 3 to 5 days per week. A reliable vehicle is required. Overnight stays are not a requirement of this position.Duties:-Review audit requests-Prioritize inventory and schedule workload-Make contact to the named insured to schedule an audit appointment-Travel to appointment location-Conduct on-site interviews and review of accounting records including payroll records, employment tax reports, general ledgers and check registers-Research of appropriate manual rules and classifications-Prepare written audit reports to show analyzed data, calculations, and classificationsJob Requirements:-Capable of working independently-Being self-motivated-Possess a pleasant personality-Must be dependable-Excellent communication skills-Strong analytical and critical thinking skills-Two-year degree in accounting or related subject is preferred (experience in bookkeeping and payroll preparation will be weighted heavily)-Computer literate including use of Microsoft programs and scheduling applications-Reliable transportation-Compatible laptop with Microsoft ExcelBenefits:-Pay is competitive to the industry.-Eligible full-time auditors will receive a benefits package to include health, dental and vision insurance, long term disability, paid time off, paid holidays and expense reimbursement RLD Associates, Inc., is a leading service company to the insurance industry, providing premium audit services to commercial insurance carriers with auditors throughout the eastern United States.
